The catalogue "Kudy z nudy" (“Escape from boredom”) is a project of
the Czech Tourist Authority – CzechTourism, aimed at reviving domestic tourism in the Czech
Republic. The catalogue represents a simple tool through which tourists in the Czech Republic can
familiarise themselves with the range of activities that are available here to fill their free time
during holidays, at weekends or on shorter trips. The classification of activities corresponds to
the subdivision into age groups (youth, families with children, older people) and categories by
their interests (adrenaline sports, winter sports, gourmet tourism, spa tourism, relaxation by
water...).
It provides free publishing of temptingly described activities, i.e. those that tourists can engage in during their stay in the concerned location. Therefore, it is not only a description of interesting places or the range of accommodation, but it concerns activities which can make tourists’ stay more pleasant. The entities providing offers are in particular private entrepreneurs engaged in the tourism business.
