In 2010 you can look forward to the legendary Sir John Eliot Gardiner with the London-based English Baroque Soloists and Monteverdi Choir, who are in charge of prelude to the Festival. The opening concert has been entrusted to the Prague Philharmonia under its new chief conductor, Jakub Hrůša.
Two other living legends to appear at the 2010 Festival are Sir André Previn and Pierre Boulez. Amongst the other renowned musicians returning to the Festival are Anne-Sophie Mutter, Murray Perahia (together with the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields), Anoushka Shankar, Garrick Ohlsson. Look forvard also to Herbert Blomstedt with Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, Zoltán Kocsis and Hungarian National Philharmonic, Cristian Mandeal, Emanuel Ax, Olga Borodina, Matthias Goerne, Ewa Kupiec, Radu Lupu, Dianne Reeves and others.
