Saint John under the cliff

The pilgrimage Church of the Birth of Saint John the Baptist is found near Beroun. Here you will find the tomb of the Croatian hermit Ivan, to whom, in the 10th century, Saint John the Baptist appeared under Saint John’s cliff. The entry to the hermit’s cave is in the church, which was built by C. Lurag in the mid-17th century.
