In May of 2011 the Bezděz Forest Park was opened right by the Military Forestry and Farming Information Centre in Hradčany u Mimoně in the Česká Lípa District. Bezděz is only the third place in the country where a forest park has been established.

The narrow pathway that leads along the Vltava in Papírenská Street was previously used by anglers only, but has now been transformed into a cycling trail. This links Stromovka to the A1 cycle path, which heads out to the city limits and then along the river to Klecánky.
