Ruins of Borotín Castle

&nsbp;
The silhouette of Borotín Castle reflects calmly on the surface of Starozámecký (Old Chateau) pond. It was founded in the 14th century, when it belonged to a branch of the South Bohemian Vítkovci family. In the 17th century it was recorded that the castle was abandoned and later served as a source of building material.
