Veltrusy Chateau

&nsbp;
Veltrusy chateau was built as a summer residence of the Chotek family on an island in the river Vltava. The island was gradually transformed into a unique landscape park that contains tree lanes, orchards and water canal with dead ends. The chateau is under reconstruction due to serious floods in 2002, but you can look around historical greenhouses or see the exhibition in the repaired granary.
