Hrubá Skála Chateau

&nsbp;
Little remains for the chateau’s predecessor, so it is mainly the location of the current neo-Gothic chateau that indicates that there was a sturdy medieval castle on the site previously. The chateau is situated on the top of a sandstone rock and there are beautiful views of Český ráj (Bohemian Paradise ) from its viewing tower. Besides being a wonderful sightseeing destination, the chateau also serves as a hotel and a conference centre. In summer it also offers a treetop walk and a medieval tavern.
