Tipper in Sudoměřice

Baťa Canal is one of the greatest tourist attractions in the region. If you either go on foot, by bike or by water, you certainly take notice of the Tipper in Sudoměřice. It served as a trans-shipping point for lignite coal, which was carried in by rail to be transported by ship. The ships transported coal to Otrokovice power plant. Nowadays the tipper serves as a lookout tower, which is also possible to see from the inside.
